Our standard payment terms are 100% advance.
However, depending on the project, we can offer some flexibility and work on an 80% advance and 20% balance payment arrangement. The remaining 20% must be received before dispatch of the products, and not after installation.
No. We currently do not offer a leasing model for our products.
Our products are supplied on an outright purchase basis, with the client purchasing the equipment and associated products directly from us.
Our products come with a six-month warranty.
The warranty is applicable only when Clean-Water is responsible for the complete scope, including transportation, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. If the client chooses to install or maintain the products independently, the warranty does not apply.
As for performance, we do not offer guaranteed outcomes, because water bodies are dynamic ecosystems influenced by many external factors beyond our control — such as fresh pollution, chemical discharge, religious waste dumping, or other unforeseen events.
Please think of our work as a doctor’s practice. A doctor prescribes the right treatment, but does not guarantee an absolute outcome, because recovery also depends on factors outside their control. It is the same with a water body: we commit to the right solution and to doing our part properly, while the final outcome also depends on external conditions that cannot always be controlled.
We currently offer a six-month warranty on our Floating Treatment Wetland (FTW) structures, subject to specific warranty conditions.
The warranty applies when the Clean-Water team handles the installation and maintenance of the products. If the client or a third party installs or maintains the products independently, the warranty becomes void.
Warranty terms for individual aeration systems may vary depending on the specific product and project, and should be confirmed at the time of purchase.
Nature-based does not mean maintenance-free or self-sustaining in the absence of ongoing management.
A water body receiving continuous sewage, agricultural runoff, religious waste, nutrients, and other pollutants cannot realistically remain clean through a one-time intervention. If pollution continues to enter the water body, ongoing treatment and maintenance are necessary.

The AMC is therefore not simply a maintenance charge; it covers the ongoing operation and biological treatment required to keep the water body healthy. We design these services to be cost-effective relative to the long-term cost of managing a polluted water body.
Our Floating Treatment Wetlands are engineered for durability and are designed to withstand strong water movement, including peak monsoon conditions. They can be deployed in lakes and, where site conditions are suitable, in rivers as well.
There is currently no single central government authority in India that specifically certifies or regulates all nature-based water rejuvenation products and their performance claims. Our products are therefore designed and supplied based on our engineering specifications, testing, project experience, and applicable requirements.
Where Clean-Water is responsible for installation and maintenance, we remain responsible for addressing product-related damage and carrying out the necessary repair or replacement work under the applicable warranty and service terms.
Where the client or a third party is responsible for installation and maintenance, the applicable warranty and responsibility for repairs will be governed by the agreed commercial and warranty terms.
There is no fixed number of days after which a water body will suddenly return to a septic or anoxic state.
If microbial dosing and maintenance stop while sewage, wastewater, nutrients, or other pollutants continue entering the water body, water quality will gradually deteriorate. The rate of deterioration depends on factors such as the quantity and quality of incoming pollution, the existing water quality, water volume, weather conditions, and the overall condition of the water body.
In a heavily polluted water body with continuous pollutant inflow and no maintenance at all, deterioration could become significant over a period of weeks to months, but it cannot responsibly be predicted as an exact number of days.
The key point is that stopping treatment does not cause an instant reversal; rather, the water body will gradually lose the improvements achieved through ongoing treatment and maintenance.
Odour reduction is generally one of the earliest improvements from the treatment.
In many cases, a significant reduction in unpleasant odour can be observed within the first few days, and we generally expect the odour to be substantially reduced within one week of starting treatment.
However, the exact timeline depends on the severity and source of the odour, the pollution load, and the condition of the water body. While we may observe odour reduction much sooner, our formal treatment commitment is based on the broader one-month water rejuvenation timeline, rather than guaranteeing a specific result within a particular number of days.
